Four Corners 500

The Four Corners 500

On Saturday night, August 21, 2010,  join us for our inaugural 500 lap team endurance race loosely modeled after the Daytona 500 and the famous 24 Hours of LeMans race.  Up to sixteen teams composed of two to four men/women each (up to four quads as well) will race at the Montezuma Fairgrounds Raceway for approximately three hours, each racer contributing to the effort.  An on track pit area (infield or track side) will be set up to handle transfers from one driver/quad to another.  Transponders will be used to count laps and score the race.  The first team to complete 500 laps wins.

~

Entry fees have been set at $50 per racer, which will include a transponder rental fee for the team.  The winning team will trophy and receive a $1,000 prize, and the 2nd and 3rd place teams will also trophy and receive $500, and $250 prizes, respectively.  The 4th place team will win $150, the 5th $100, the 6th $75 and the 7th place team will take home a $50 prize.  Pre-registration is mandatory for this event as we are strictly limiting registration to 16 teams.  Therefore, if you wish to enter a team in the event, please email us at NASQUADRacing@aol.com.

Four Corners 500 rules and entry forms are in the registrations package that can be downloaded from this web site.  Only 16 teams will be registered; no others will be permitted, so do not delay if you are interested in participating in this first of its kind quad event.  As of late June 2010, we have 9 teams signed up.  Starting positions for the 500 are based on date of registration; earlier registration gets favorable start position.
